Job Description

Rate: $4000 w/ 8 hours of clinic time and practice call overnight

Start: Ongoing

Schedule: Full-time preferred (5 days/week)

Opportunity Details

• Outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic with inpatient call
• Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• 1 week of phone-only call every 3 weeks
• Weekend call is 24-hour phone call only (no return-to-hospital call backs)
• Oncology clinic connected to chemotherapy infusion center and hospital
• 8 guaranteed hours per day
• Travel, lodging, and malpractice provided
• Full-time providers preferred; 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off schedules may be considered

Requirements

• Active California medical license preferred (providers needing licensure will be considered)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Minimum 2 years of recent inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience
• Clean malpractice and professional history strongly preferred
• Must be eligible for hospital privileges

This is an established Commission on Cancer (CoC)-accredited cancer program managing approximately 500 new analytic cancer cases annually, offering a collaborative practice environment with ongoing coverage needs.
