Your New Role - Work from Agoura Hills, CA, while supporting residential projects throughout the Malibu service area
- Assist Interior Designers with space planning and interior layouts
- Create and update AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans, elevations, and details, under designer direction
- Assist with furniture, fabrics, lighting, materials, fixtures, and finish selections
- Build and maintain specification binders and material libraries
- Assist with material schedules, fixture schedules, and purchase order documentation
- Track vendor orders, lead times, and deliveries
- Prepare client presentation materials using Adobe InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint as needed
- Participate in project site visits to collect measurements, notes, and photographs
- Communicate with vendors and assist with samples, returns, filing, and project coordination
- Maintain accurate design documentation and organized project files
- Collaborate with Senior and Associate Designers while developing practical interior design and project management skills

- Education or experience in interior design, residential design, or a related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Working knowledge of SketchUp
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with Dropbox and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments
- Attention to detail and ability to take initiative
- Willingness to learn and collaborate with senior team members
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to travel to project sites within the service area as needed
